He is survived by: his wife Shirley Broeffle; his children, Kurt Pierson of Superior, WI, Kim Thorvilson (Lynn) of Seattle, WA and Karla Lund (Dave) of Fargo, ND; his grandchildren, Alyssa, Luke, Ian and Ari; and his siblings, Leona Schneider of Walhalla, ND, Dorothy Saurer of Langdon, ND, Wilfred Schill (Sue) of Langdon, ND, Dennis Schill (Diane) of Langdon, ND, Pat Domagala (Dennis) of Langdon, ND and Betty Otteson (Larry). He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
