With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Wayne McLain of Minot, North Dakota, born in Mohall, North Dakota, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, John McLain and Leona McLain (Schroeder); his wife Delia Krause; his son Tracy; his siblings, Edythe Larson, Myrle McLain, Lauren McLain and LuVern McLain; and his stepbrothers, Raymond, Robert and Ralph.
He is survived by: his children, Vickie Erck (Gaylen) of Minot, Lori Hanson (Mike Mathis) of Minot, Jodi Krueger (Dave) of Minot and Cory McLain (Michele) of Folsom, CA.; his daughter-in-law Karyn McLain of Brainerd, MN; his grandchildren, Ronnie Hanson (Yolanda), Jami Derheim (Mike), Jesse McLain, Kyle McLain (Caitlyn Hoggarth), Dylan McLain, Alanna Krueger, Rhanda Pretzer (Mateo Bustamante) and Brendan McLain; his great grandchildren, Taylor Hanson, Brooklyn Hanson, Berkley Hanson, Harper Hanson, Beau Hanson, Cameron Hanson (Kaitie), Lucas McLain, Beau McLain and Eliddy McLain; his great great grandchild Charlie Hanson; and his sister-in-law Marlys McLain. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.
In lieu of flowers or plants, memorial donations are preferred to Caring Edge Hospice of Minot.
