He is survived by: his wife Alma Knutson; his daughters, Luana Gilbert of Billings, MT, Audrey Wirtz (Ron), Vicki Ackerman (Rolly), Minot Brown and Penny Brown; his grandchildren, Paula Montague, Becky Gilbert, Michael Gilbert, Corey Wirtz, Heidi Egeberg, Duncan Ackerman, Ryan Ackerman, Stacy Johnson, Brandy Hartman, Toni Walters and Jodi McDevitt; his siblings, Clifford Knutson (Phyllis) of Fergus Falls, MN, Jenny Gates, Minot and Florence; and also Minot.
