It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Verna Anna Christine Howard (Minot, North Dakota), who passed away on April 27, 2019, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Westman and Alice Westman (Gullickson); her husband Harold Howard; and her siblings, Jennie Lorenz, Kermit and Willard Westman.

She is survived by: her children, Joel Howard (Rochelle), Sawyer, Dale Howard (Cindy), Hazen, Kevin Howard (Janet), Irene Howard, Minot, Bonnie Stone (Kerry), Chris Olson (Norlynn) and Karlsruhe; and her sister Avis Stiefel (Don) of Garrison. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
