She was predeceased by: her parents, Roscoe Rhodes and Emma Rhodes (Halley); her son Rickie Schalesky; and her siblings, Chester "Bud" Rhodes (Helga), Evelyn Rhodes, Theta Jean Myers (Fay), Jacquiline Rhodes, Olive Fulton (John), Beverly Schalesky (Paul), Frances Carr (Doug) and Leila Rhodes.
She is survived by: her husband Dennis Schalesky; her children, Craig Schalesky, NDand Timothy (Angie), Carmen Popiel (Jackson) of Carrolton, TX, Tammy Schalesky and Lisa Lisberg (Mark) of Williston, ND; her daughter-in-law Sandy Schalesky of Johnstown, PA; and her brother Roscoe Rhodes (Beatrice). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; and numerous other extended family.
