He was predeceased by: his parents, John "Earl" Widdel and Angela Widdel (Gefroh); his sons, Chris Widdel of Minot and Jeff Widdel (Desra) of Prior Lake, MN; and his brother Tim Widdel.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Collins (Luedke); his cousin Dick Charlebois (Dicks); his daughter Andrea; his grandchildren, Jacob, Adisynn, Angela and Sophia; and his siblings, Jack Widdel (Yvonne) of Bemidji, MN and Judy Straight of St. Paul, MN.
Memorials are preferred to the MSU Beaver Boosters, Minot Chamber Chorale or the Lord's Cupboard Food Pantry.
