With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Steven Claude Merchant of Minot, North Dakota, who passed away on May 30, 2024 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Merchant and Ruth Merchant (Anderson); his brother Randy Merchant; and his significant other Bernie Lauinger (Bernie). He is survived by: his children, Michael Merchant of Minot, ND and Shelly Schrimpf of Phoenix, AZ; his grandchildren, Brianna Evans, Jeremy Schrimpf, Ava Merchant, Ella Merchant, Addison Merchant and Kenya Larson; his great grandchildren, Ezekiel Evans, Lilian Evans and Eleanor Schrimpf; his sister Pamela McDonald; and also, Mitch Larson and Jen Barker. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
