He is survived by: his close friend Kara Gjerde; his sisters, Hope Surber and Connie Wahl (Byron); his nieces and nephews, Lynn, Chad, Randy, Ron, Jeb, Judi, Lisa and Lorena; his sister-in-law Carol Bonsall; his stepchildren, Shani Alexander, Chris Alexander and Ariel Alexander; and his stepgranddaughter Edyn Alexander. He is also survived by several great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.
