She is survived by: her parents, Kent Nelson and Judy Nelson (Giesen); her spouse Lance Brockey; her son Garrett Brockey of Minot; her sister Nicole Walcker of Minot; her nieces and nephews, Shelby, Emily and Jordan; and her grandmother Arlene Giesen of Mandan.

Memorials : In lieu of flowers and plants, memorials are preferred to a care fund set up in Garrett's name at Prairie Federal Credit Union.
