She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Hupsky and Anna Hupsky (Poll); and her siblings, Jerold, June and Janis.

She is survived by: her husband Lyle McDermott; her daughters, Vicky Flagstad (Greg Aasmundstad) and Linda Buerkle of Elko, NV; her grandchildren, Deanna Heit (Scott), Kevin Flagstad (Jody) and Brooke James (Jon); and her great grandchildren, Lindsay, Hunter Heit, Athens and Rex James. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorials are preferred to either First Baptist Church, Trinity Hospice, or to the donor's choice.
