He was predeceased by: his parents, Henning Iverson and Harriet Iverson (Wood); and his sister Allaire Billingsley. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Streifel; his children, Laura Martin (Craig) of Brookings, SD, Todd Iverson of Minot, ND and Scott Iverson of Williston, ND; his granddaughters, Amanda Martin, Jessica Martin and Kayleigh Iverson; his sister Gayle Owens (Ron) of Grand Forks, ND; and his parents-in-law, Norm Streifel (Alice) of Williston, ND, Alvina Mehlfoff of Bismarck, ND, Bob Streifel (Rachel) of Woodbury, MN, Sharon Fischer (Lynn) of Sun City, AZ, Yvonne Pederson (Brian) of Moorhead, MN and Leon Streifel (Dawn) of Fargo, ND. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials are preferred to the Bishop Ryan High School Foundation, Second Story of Minot or St. John The Apostle Catholic Church of Minot.
