He was predeceased by: his parents, William Rau and Alice Rau (Krenzler); his daughter Rachelle Long; his stepfather Joe Kiliz; and his half-sister Ann Treiber.
He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Mearing Culver; his children, Ronnie Rau, Rhona Hoyt (Dean) and Renita Woodman (Rob); his son-in-law Larry Long; his stepchildren, Jonathan Culver, Adrian Culver and Matthew Culver; his grandchildren, Marshall, Ryan, Zoe Long, Genna Johnson (Oliver), Matthew Hoyt, Talia and Dexter Woodman; his stepgrandchildren, Sophie, Phoebe, Ethan, Jack and Florence; his great grandchildren, Greyson and Elliana Johnson; and his half-siblings, Beverly Baack, John and Tony Kiliz. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
