We are sad to announce that on February 18, 2025, Rick Hornaday of Minot, North Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Loyal Hornaday and Grethe "Gertie" Hornaday (Wadholm); his parents-in-law, Albert Spitzer and Esther "Norma" (Rambeck); his siblings, Lynn Hornaday Sr., Yvonne Olson (Arnie), Carol Norton (Gene), Bonnie Hornaday, Marsha Peterson (Virgil) and Laurie Ruland; and his nieces and nephews, Kelly Norton, Lane Hornaday, Patrick Riley, Matthew Ruland, Del Bangen, J. C. Bartelson, Kathy Barry, Kyanne Olson, Keri Edwards and Kym Capek.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Hornaday; his daughter Shari; his son-in-law Farhad Hossain; his great-niece Avari Folven of Minot; his siblings, Sharon Hornaday of Portland, OR, Fern Skarphol (Harlan) of Ryder and Forrest Hornaday of Scappoose, OR; and his siblings-in-law, Jim Ruland of Geneva, OR, Mavis Hornaday of Minot, Sharon Bangen (Quentin) of Plaza and Norene Bartelson of Carmel, IN. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bethel Lutheran Church (224 2nd St North, New Town, ND).
