He is survived by: his significant other Darlene Weber; his daughters, Nancy Fjeld (Greg) of Minot and Kathy DesLauriers (Blaine) of Minot; his grandchildren, Britni Schmalz (Terry) of Minot, ND, Brock DesLauriers (Elly) of Minot, ND and Carly Fjeld of Austin, TX; his great grandchildren, Taylor DesLauriers, Raegan DesLauriers, Stella Schmalz, Harper Schmalz and Hudson Schmalz; his daughter Joan Leiphon; his siblings, Donald Hendershot (Amy) of Sherwood, ND, June Tovey of Lowry City, MO, Dee Goodwin of Hazen, ND and Eva Lauer (Tony) of Hazen, ND; and his brother-in-law Del Weber (Deb) of Minot, ND..
