He was predeceased by: his father Howard P. Lavik. He is survived by: his mother Norma Lavik (Fahrnkopf) of Minot; his wife Joy Johnson; his children, Gillian Lavik (Tore Knudsen) and Andrew Lavik (Kristen); his grandchildren, Silas of Minot, Finn of Minot, Gunnar Knudsen of Minot and Kaydence Lavik of Minot; and his brothers, Tom Lavik (Bonnie) of Blaine and Tim Lavik of Minot. He is also survived by nieces, nephews; other relatives and friends.
