He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Sharkey and Mathilda Sharkey (Amon); and his siblings-in-law, Donald Vetsch, Larry Kraft and Dona Lou Vetsch.
He is survived by: his wife Donrose Vetsch of Minot; his children, Robert Sharkey (Sandra Luttkus) of Westhope and Laura Rowell (Joseph) of Windermere, FL; his grandchildren, Johnathan Sharkey (Emma Olson-Sharkey), Christopher Sharkey (Shannon), Thomas Rowell, Christine Rowell and Benjamin Sharkey; his great grandchild Harriet Sharkey; his sister-in-law Paula Kraft; and his cousin Deborah Amon (Cindy Bryan). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews; other relatives and friends.
