He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Klein and Elizabeth Klein (Schmidt); his siblings, Kenneth, Helen Hoffert and Clara Vetsch; his siblings-in-law, Arlois Klein, Alvina Hoffart, Mary Hoffart, Betty Hoffart, Peter Hoffert, James Vetsch, Robert Schaan and Edwin Hoffart; and his nieces and nephews, Cynthia Hoffert, Tawny Klein, Delwyn Klein, David Hoffart and Glen Hoffert.
He is survived by: his wife Bertha Hoffart of Mary's Catholic Church; his brothers, Edward of Rugby, James (Arlene) of Moorhead and Dennis (Georgeiann) of Rugby; his in-laws, Ann Hoffart, Beatrice Schaan, Nick Hoffart, Dan Hoffart, Al Hoffart and Mike Hoffart; and his goddaughters, Sabrina Klein, Tammy Olson and April Hoffart. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
