He is survived by: his wife Elaine Haugen of Redeemer's Lutheran Brethren Church; his father-in-law John Haugen; his children, Katie Carlson of GlenBurnie, MD, Luke Carlson (Tara) of Fergus Falls, MN, Anne Borseth (Jay) of Bismarck, Mary Carlson of Minot and Garrett Carlson of Minot; his grandchildren, Ada, Adeline and Jedidiah Borseth; his children, Elsa, Curtis, Caleb Carlson and Makonnen Payne; his siblings, Karen Crocker (Roger), Joyce Childers (Dan), Dianne Brendsel (Douglas), John Carlson (Darlene), Duane Carlson (Dawn), Ken Carlson (Patty) and Douglas Carlson (Rhonda); his brother-in-law David Kopp; and his in-laws, Dorathy Schatz (Larry), James Haugen (Sandy), Mike Haugen (Janice), Pat Haugen (Shelley), Jerry Haugen (Marilyn), Darlene Letvin (Gary) and Dan Haugen (Christal).
