With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Phillip Olstad of Minot, North Dakota, born in Mayville, North Dakota, who passed away on October 6, 2023 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Judith Theresa (Bjerke) and Hartvik Marcellie; his brothers, Les and Ordell; his sisters-in-law, Donna Olstad, Joann Olstad and Janet Miller; his parents-in-law, Gertrude and Arnold Morkve; his brother-in-law Keith Morkve; and his nephew Kory Stromstad.

He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Morkve; his daughters, Kathy Baer (Ken) and Judy Olstad; his grandchildren, Hunter Baer and Chase Baer; and his sisters-in-law, Arlene Olstad and Linda Stromstad.
