He was predeceased by: his parents, Mike Weinand and Lillian Weinand (Aumann); and his brothers, Leonard, Charles, Tom, Don and Richard Weinand.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann May; his children, Jackie Jorgenson (Myron "Al") of Beulah, ND and Dale Weinand; and his siblings, Rosella Franklin of Glendive, MT and Gerome (Darlene) of Missoula, MT. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
