She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Halstead and Mabel Halstead (Jackson); her husband Nels Tengesdal; her great grandchildren, Josiah and Hope; and her siblings, Florence, Myrtle, Violet, Laverne, Derrald and William "Butch".

She is survived by: her children, Bonnie Brandt (Rodney), Carter Tengesdal (Karla), Jimmie Tengesdal (Kari Moen), David Tengesdal (Carole) of Tioga, ND, Darol Tengesdal (Shelly) of Esko, MN and Bradley Tengesdal (Anna-Leena); her grandchildren, Jeremy Brandt (Heather), Jennifer Nelson (Kory), Jessica Konik (Rafal) and Jacob Brandt (Jillian); and her children, Katina Miller (Jason), Kyle Tengesdal (Katie), Kara Heninger (Kurt), Kirsti Erikson (Dillon), Mark Tengesdal (Anna), Samuel Tengesdal, Khrista Collins (Jeffrey), Kimber Jones (Brandon), Micah Tengesdal (Lauren), Matthew Tengesdal (Alexis), Aleksander Tengesdal (Angela), Isak Tengesdal (Maxine) and Jonas Tengesdal.

“Throughout the years we, the Fossum family, had countless get-togethers with the Tengesdals. Every Christmas Eve, birthdays-no matter who’s it was and volleyball underneath the yard light. Even us youngsters attempting summersaults while the men were making a silage pile. There is no shortage of memories with Pearl and her family. We loved her bright smile and personality and all her projects that kept her so busy and that is what made her happy. Best Aunt Ever!!!! Elroy Fossum”
