He is survived by: his wife Marlise Peterson; his children, Pam Ramsdell (Dick) of Rugby, ND, Paulette Mattern (Mark) of Devils Lake, ND, Robin James (Ben) of Kenmare, ND and John Wirtz (Marianne); his grandchildren, Sheila Melaas (Mike), Kim Anderson (Steve), Derek Ramsdell (Katie), Paul Mattern (Kelli), Aimee Muus (Pat) and Steve Mattern (Val); and his sister Theresa Ankenbauer. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
