It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Opal Lautt of Minot, North Dakota, who passed away on October 1, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cicero Vannett and Alma Vannett (Nelson); her great grandchild Christian Emerson Bastian; her siblings, Lillian Vannett, Robert and Carl Vannett; her sisters-in-law, Gertrude Vannett, Iva Vannett and Loretta Vannett; and her in-laws, Ed, Alice Skorick, Wes Lautt, Tom, Kathryn Kimbrough, Eugene Vinarskai and Howard Brown.
She is survived by: her husband Art Lautt; her children, Patricia Froese (Willie) of Oak Bank, MB, Art Jr. Lautt (Judy) and Dorothy Doerksen (Walter) of Winnipeg, MB; her grandchildren, Jae, Aaron Froese (Loni), Heather Bastian (Peter), Heidi Penner (Tim), Andrea Berg (Kevin), Steven Lautt (Diane), Stephanie Reimer (Don), James Doerksen (Elenore) and Charles Doerksen (Aubrey); her great grandchildren, Justice, Jubilee, Beckett, Payton Froese, Dylan, Caden, Jagger Bastian, Ava, Bella, Austin, Sawyer Penner, Mason, Colton Berg, June, Andrew Lautt, Keziah and Abigail Doerksen; her brothers, Henry Vannett and Wayne Vannett (Arla Mae); and her siblings-in-law, Elayne Brown, Betty Vinarskai, Evelyn Lautt, Pat Lautt, Arlette Lautt and Dale Lautt. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
