Ole Olson Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ole Olson of Minot, North Dakota, who passed away on August 12, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Harold and Alice Grace Olson (Olson); his grandparents, Edward, Alphoeba Olson and Louise Olson; and his father-in-law Clifford McBeth.

He is survived by: his uncle Marvin; his wife Claudia Olson; his children, Wyatt Olson (Ann) of Des Lacs, Dusty Olson (Kelli Marchand) and Rusti Sys of Minot; his grandchildren, Payton, Ryder Sys, Lane, Westin and Oliver Olson; his siblings, Larry (Donna) of Bowie, MD, Gordon (Judy) of Burlington, Gary of Burlington, Wendell (Karen) of Minot, Curtis (Katie) of Garrison and Diane of Minot; his mother-in-law Annabelle McBeth of Minot; his brother-in-law Carter McBeth (Delilah) of Bantry; his uncle Chris Olson of Garrison; his brother Don Yellowbird of White Shield; and also Koby Weishaar of Minot. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, lifelong friends.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred.

“My condolences to Claudia and Family. I have so many fond memories of Ole. He was always kind to my family and I. There to assist whenever it was needed. We always talked about meeting for breakfast, it saddens me this didn't happen. My conversations with Ole were always memorable sand I will miss not having one more. Petter and Laurel Thunshelle.”
