He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Skogstad and Nadine Skogstad; his children, Faith Ann and Charlie Zamora; and his grandparents, Helge, Ingaborg Skogstad (Seim), Lloyd and Stella Turner (Sumner).
He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Deidre (Marvin), Daniel and Jesse (Margaret); his grandchildren, Demar, Tre, Raynathan, Brandon (Sela) and Ashley (Phil); and his great grandchildren, Vegeta and Lucas.
The family requests that memorial donations be made to Parkinson's Foundation Minnesota & Dakotas Chapter, Bismarck AMVETS Post 9, and North Dakota Veterans Cemetery.
