It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Monty Skogstad of Minot, North Dakota, who passed away on September 22, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Monty Skogstad to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Skogstad and Nadine Skogstad; his children, Faith Ann and Charlie Zamora; and his grandparents, Helge, Ingaborg Skogstad (Seim), Lloyd and Stella Turner (Sumner).
He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Deidre (Marvin), Daniel and Jesse (Margaret); his grandchildren, Demar, Tre, Raynathan, Brandon (Sela) and Ashley (Phil); and his great grandchildren, Vegeta and Lucas.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Bismarck Funeral Home (3723 Lockport St, Bismarck, ND 58503). A burial will be held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery (1825 46th St, Mandan, ND 58554).
The family requests that memorial donations be made to Parkinson's Foundation Minnesota & Dakotas Chapter, Bismarck AMVETS Post 9, and North Dakota Veterans Cemetery.
