He is survived by: his wife Nancy Novak; his children, Triston Desjarlais (Marin), Mindy Werner and Tanya Cowart; his grandchildren, Enzo Michael Desjarlais, Pierra Bella Desjarlais, Jaydon, Ashlee Werner and Chloe Cowart; his stepmother Clarice Purdy; his nephew Jeff Vanlaningham (Heidi); his niece Sarah Anderson (Sean); and his uncle Paul A. Purdy.
