He was predeceased by: his parents, Norris B. Johnson and Florence Johnson; his sister Betty Lou Bergsguard; his grandson Joshua Evarts; his siblings-in-law, Lois Johnson and Gary Ness; and his nephew Robbie Ness.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Lou; his children, Tracy Ann Taylor (Thomas Lee Wigen), Charles Norris Johnson (Chuck) and Robert Merwyn Johnson; his grandchildren, Clayton Alan Taylor, Weston Scott Taylor (Washington), Mitchell Dean Johnson (Washington) and Sophia Raquel Johnson (Washington); and also, Glenn Johnson, Darrell Johnson, Jerry Johnson (Bonnie), Noreen Wright, Kathy (Dave Bjornstad), Deanna (Darryl Gotvaslee), Lanny Johnson and Lori (Doran Nelson). He is also survived by 2 great grandchildren.
