He was predeceased by: his parents, Winfred Johnson and Olga Johnson (Opdahl); and his siblings, Clarence Johnson, Glen Johnson, Wayne Johnson and Judy Ballantyne.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Marsh; his children, Mark Johnson and Darin Johnson (Michelle); his grandsons, Zachary Johnson (Ricca) of Watertown, SD and Tanner Johnson of Minot, ND; his great grandchild Royer Merton Johnson; and his sister Vi Seiffert of Westhope, ND.
Memorials: in lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to Christ Lutheran Church, Minot.
