He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Heizelman and Lydia Heizelman (Schiefle); his wife Lois Jean Aamodt; his granddaughter Lindsay Hovey; his sisters, Ruby and Caroline; and his parents-in-law, Adolph and Jenny Aamodt.
He is survived by: his children, Shirley Lozensky (Gary) of Bismarck, ND, Dennis Heizelman (Roxanne) of Fargo, ND, Dean Heizelman (Medora), Sawyer, Dale Heizelman (Cathy) of Mapleton, IA and Darin Heizelman (Lori); and his grandchildren, Carrie (Scott), Amy (Brian), Brandon (Monique) of Dennis, RJ, Daryck (Michelle), Dallas, Dylon, Rory (Lilly), Todd, Jeremy and Whittni (Dusty). He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Easter Seals.
