He is survived by: his mother Dian McLeod (Hames); his wife Kristin Plessas; his children, Kaden, Lexi, Bailey and Alexis; his siblings, Scott McLeod (Roni), Barb McLeod (Christy) and Joan Carvell (Steve); his aunt Jeannie McLeod; his parents-in-law, Karen Plessas and Donald Plessas Jr.; his siblings-in-law, D. James Plessas (Maelyn), Dale Plessas (Jackie), David Plessas and Kirby Plessas; and his nieces and nephews, Tom Carvell, Rebecca Reynolds, Kaitlyn Plessas, Kennedy Plessas and Emily Plessas.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, an educational fund for Matt's three children, has been set up at a local credit union in Minot.
