He is survived by: his aunts and uncles, Eugene Gackle (Nancy) of Columbus, IN, Renee Ballou (Ron) of Lincoln, NE, Gerard Gackle (Linda), Dave Gackle of Aberdeen, SD, Rebecca Gackle of Maple Grove, MN, Mary Anderson (Dave), Bob Gackle (Cheri) of Velva, ND, Mark Gackle (Christine) of Prior Lake, MN, Steve Watne (Karine) of Edina, MN, Carmen Boggs (Dan) of Everett, WA and Nancy Mitchell (Duffy) of Seattle, WA.

Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Church of the Little Flower (800 University Ave W, Minot, ND 58703). A vigil service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
