He was predeceased by: his parents, Felix and Katherine (Schmaltz); his wife Myrtle Waswick (Seidemann) of Granville; his son David Bachmeier; his son-in-law Ron Keefer; his siblings, Elizabeth "Betty" Dickey, Mary Eva Kramer, Julia Kramer, Magdalene Bachmeier, Dorothy Weigel, Amelia "Millie" Brown, Esther Goldade, Jacob Bachmeier and Casper Bachmeier; and his stepson Gary Waswick.
He is survived by: his children, Nancy Keefer, Milissa Delp (Randy) and Darin (Vicki); his stepdaughters, Glenda Gotvaslee (Kelvin Wells) and Gail Hove (Dean); his grandchildren, Aubrey Wagner (Joe), Amy Borden (Jake), Cheyenne and David Delp; his stepgrandchildren, Donavon, Dayton Gotvaslee, Jordan Hove, Lindsey Justice (Jimmy) and Spencer Moffett; his great grandchildren, Irie, Marley Graeser, Barrett, Keefer Borden, Lucas Wagner and Rowan Justice; and his siblings, Helen Simons, Adeline Bonn, Caroline Heilman, Gertrude Aabrekke, Janice Phillips and Gabriel Bachmeier. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
