It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lowell F. Latimer of Minot, North Dakota, born in McHenry, North Dakota, who passed away on August 13, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin A. Latimer and Olga C. Latimer (Frantsvog); his parents-in-law, Emil and Selma Sather; his siblings, Marilyn Anderson, Lou Jean Kelley, Lyle, Robert and Marlin Latimer; and his siblings-in-law, Karen Holst, Orwayne Holst (Bud), Franklin Kelley and Carl Anderson.
He is survived by: his wife Ann E. Sather; his children, John Latimer (Karen) of Bellingham, WA and Nancy Liffrig (David) of Starkville, MS; his grandchildren, Nicholas (Jerica), Thomas (Victoria), Daniel Liffrig (Olivia), Julia and Caroline Latimer; his great grandchildren, Sophie, Hudson, Harper, Sienna and Charlotte Liffrig; and his sisters-in-law, Lillian Latimer of Hazen, ND and Karen Latimer of Voltaire, ND. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of plants and flowers, memorials are preferred and may be given to First Lutheran Church Foundation, Minot Public School Foundation or to an organization of the donor's choice.
