He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Rivard and Eva Rivard (Vandal); and his sister Rita Syvertson (Dale). He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Ann Hahn; and his children, Mary Rivard, Wayne Rivard (Tami), Jeanne Buff (Jim), Paula Giesen (Bruce) and Alan Rivard (Tracy).
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the St. Leo the Great Catholic Church (218 1st St SE, Minot, ND 58701). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
