He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Yuly and Ruth Yuly (Dickinson); his sisters, Pauline Huntley (Sam) and Sharon Andersen; and his siblings-in-law, Darrell Forest, Roger Walter, Tracy Walter, Terry Walter and Cleus Walter.
He is survived by: his wife Gail Walter; his brother Richard Rakness (Gloria) of Saratoga, WY; his in-laws, Margie Haas (Daryl) of Fertile, MN, Marvin Jr. Walter (Linda) of Warwick, ND and Les Walter (Yelena) of Plymouth, MN; and his grandsons, Forest of Warwick, ND, Rick Walter of Devils Lake, ND and Darrel Walter (Dori) of Warwick, ND. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
