He was predeceased by: his parents, Iver Stokke and Dorothy Stokke (Busch); his brothers, Vern, Eugene and Wesley Stokke; and his nephew Daniel Stokke.
He is survived by: his brother Edwin (Marcia); his sister-in-law Carole Stokke of Tigard, OR; and his nieces and nephews, Keith Stokke, James Stokke, Iver Stokke, Rebecca Tryon, Kathy Erwin, Debbie Locke and Eugene Stokke.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in John's memory to Hope Congregational Church, of Granville or to a location of Donor's Choice.
