We bid farewell to John Burckhard of Minot, North Dakota, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 7, 2024 at the age of 74. He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Burckhard and Mary Burckhard (Jundt); his siblings, Barbara Koble, Kathy Newman and Raymond Burckhard; his siblings-in-law, Peggy Burckhard, Gordy Hanson, Conrad Koble and Warren Newman; and his nephew Todd Burckhard.
He is survived by: his wife Lisa Jo Johnson; his children, Jasahd Stewart (Larissa) of Minot, Shaleb Stewart of Minot, Lauren Burckhard of Minot, Reagan Grujovic (Tiodor) of Minot and Luke Burckhard of Minot; his grandchildren, Maliyah, Cosmas Stewart and Javani Grujovic; his siblings, Mary Ann Hanson of Ramsey, MN, David Burckhard, Michael Burckhard (Phyllis), Beverly Thom (Randy), James Burckhard (Kim), Mark Burckhard, Joan Massey (Charles) and Janice Burckhard (Ronald); and his sister-in-law Lynn Burckhard of Renton, WA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the St. Leo the Great Roman Catholic Church (218 1st St SE, Minot, ND 58701). A prayer was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church (707 16th Ave SW, Minot, ND 58701).
