She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles R. Marshall and Alberta Marshall (Dickerson); her husband Charles "Red" Hansen; and her sisters, Janet Rutz, Maxine Kepler and Betty Marshall.
She is survived by: her sons, Jayme (Pat), Jerry Hansen (Kerry) of Minot, ND and Jon Hansen (Jennifer) of Fargo, ND; her grandchildren, Kristen Johnston (Nate), Robert Hansen (Sara), Katie Fratz, Shawn Hansen (Megan), Duncan Hansen, Whitney Hansen and Tess Hansen; her great grandchildren, Hailey, Lucas Johnston, Merrick and Emberly Hansen; and her brother Charles (JoAnne). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given in Joan's honor to the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, The Alzheimer's Association, or to an organization of donor's choice.
