She was predeceased by: her parents, William Sinclair and Etta Sinclair (Webster); and her brother Malcolm. She is survived by: her children, Harriet Peppard (Foster) of Sun Prairie, WI and John Hepper (Carol) of Minot; and her grandsons, Jaydin Hepper and Jace Hepper. She is also survived by her parents; husband.

In Russell's later years, she was a dedicated Alzheimer's caregiver.
