He was predeceased by: his parents, Rex Demaree and Margaret Demaree (Matzdorf); his wife Sheila; his grandson Joshua Abel; his great grandchild Austin Rauchman; and his siblings, June Flemmer, Donna Demaree and John Demaree.
He is survived by: his children, Jan Abel (Larry), Dawn Godejohn (Dean), Sarah Collins, Santa Maria and Andrew Demaree; his brothers, David Demaree (April) and Billy Demaree (Maggie); and his sister-in-law Marlene Demaree. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
