She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Bernice Johnson (Scheltens) and Vernie Johnson Jr.; her former husband Frederick Schmidt of Beulah; her significant other Leroy Waters; her son Jason Everett Schmidt of Champlin, MN; her grandsons, Dustin Tyler and Matthew Damon Schmidt; the father of her children Fred Schmidt of Beulah, ND; her siblings, Carolyn Johnson Graff (Dale) of Carpio, ND, Gail Johnson Huff (Robert), Marshall Johnson (Barbara), Roger Johnson (Mary), Donnybrook Johnson and Ginger Johnson; her brother-in-law Kenneth Hoffert of Savage, MN; her son Damon Earl Schmidt; her sister Ardyce Hoffert; and also, Colette Hunter-Flores, William Frederick Schmidt and Clara Margaret Schmidt (Hartwig). She was also cherished by 20 nieces and nephews and 34 great nieces and great nephews.
