Gordon Lien Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 9, 2024, at the age of 76, Gordon Lien of Minot, North Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Gordon departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Gordon. Though Gordon may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Lien and Nona Lien. He is survived by: his wife Leanda Prill (Lee); his children, Kris Lien (Kathryn) of Minot, ND and Jen Lien (Craig Haskins) of Williston, ND; his granddaughter Breanna McDonald (Hogan) of Minneapolis, MN; and his siblings, Gary Lien (Dee) of Plaza, ND and Nancy Lien of Mandan, ND. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Life Lutheran Church (1415 17th Ave SW, Minot, ND 58701).
Memorials are preferred to Bread of Life Lutheran Church in Minot or to First Lutheran Church in Plaza, ND.
