He was predeceased by: his parents, Hassell B. Bockness and Florence Bockness (Ballard); his wife Onna Olson; his children, Carol Boyer and Gladwin Bockness; and his brother Bruce Bockness.
He is survived by: his children, Gerhard (Guillermina Saucedo), Hemet and Lavina Myhre (Steve) of Hazen, ND; his son-in-law Greg Boyer (Char) of Hazen, ND; his grandchildren, Lindsy Berg (Shane), Glen Bockness (Wendy), Garret Bockness (Maddalida), Waylon Boyer (Amanda) and Deserea Cole (Josh); his great grandchildren, Jace, Everly Olsen, Jacqueline, Kellie, Kendall Berg, Bradlee and Audrey Bockness; and his nephew Byron Bockness. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
