He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Newman and Mildred Newman (Goebel); and his sister Gayle Grabill. He is survived by: his wife Carol E. Baker; his children, Wendy Long (Tony) and Tim Newman (Melissa); and his sisters, Linda Howe, Velva and Diane Hensel (Bob) of Park Rapids, MN.
