He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Zietz and Eleanor Zietz (Betts); his siblings, Donna Zietz, Jerry Zietz and Diane Zietz; his great grandchild Kelsey Shorb-Gillespie; and his pet Teddy Theodore Roosevelt Zietz.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara McCutcheon; his daughters, Cindy Springstead (Walter) of Minot, Tammy Nesdahl (Brett) of Minot and Patience Boesl (Brian) of Minot; and his grandchildren, Chase, Levi, JeTaime, Paige and Nicholas. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
