He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Boger and Anna Boger (Oster); his wife Ann Berdahl; his daughter Connie Lafferty; his grandchildren, Justin Womack and Dani Rae Boger; and his siblings, Bud, James and Stella.

He is survived by: his children, Daniel Boger (Nikki), Tim Boger (Joni), Tammy (Robert) and Fred Jr. Boger (Kristen).
