He is survived by: his wife Rosella Burgard; his children, Bob Pfeifer (Cindy), Kathy Gregg (Les), Jerry Pfeifer (Barb), Mary Solberg (Doug), Randy Pfeifer, Cheryl Lesmeister (Steve), Sharon Pfeifer and Don Pfeifer (Terryl); his grandchildren, Mary, Jon, Michelle, Laura, Sarah, Dana, Andrew, Ryan, Abby, Jaydyn, Stephanie, Joshua and Jared; his great grandchildren, Lindsay, Charlie, Luke, Nikki, Nathaniel, Macklyn, Kellyn, Haiden, Everson, Bryan, Jasmyn, Lauren, Alyx and Lesmeister; his siblings, Angeline Rudnick, Odmar Pfeifer Jr., Audrey Weigel (Jerome) and Dorothy Bachmeier (Milton); his brothers-in-law, Richard Burgard (Linda) and Wilfred Keller; his siblings, Viola Pfeifer, Alice Burgard (Leo), Rosemary Filler (Herb), Ralph Pfeifer (Florence) and Patricia Bromley (Harvey); and his in-laws, Wendelin and Florentine Burgard. He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Thompson - Larson Funeral Home (21 3rd Ave SW, Minot, ND 58701). A vigil service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. John the Apostle Catholic Church (2600 W Central Ave, Minot, ND 58703).
