She was predeceased by: her parents, Delbert Cogdill and Lois Cogdill (Cowan). She is survived by: her husband Walter Mertz; her children, Marvin Mertz (Cindy), Randall Mertz, Rodney Mertz (Tatsiana) of Hugo, MN, Michael Mertz (Janet Herman), Sandra Giardelli (Kenneth) of Covington, LA and Della Patterson of Peoria, IL.; her grandchildren, Mandy Schmidt (Randall), Cole Mertz (Amber), Tiffany Smith (Benjamin), Anthony Giardelli (Courtney Rovira), Emily Otto and Alex Osipovich (Lauren Glasow); and her great grandchildren, Gabriel, Lucas, Bethany Mertz, Tate Burckhard, Camille Giardelli and Kiya Osipovich. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
