She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Newman and Susie Newman (Olson); her husband Roger; her son Lyle; her brothers, Ernest "Bud" and LeRoy Newman; and her grandson Troy Allen Haugen.

She is survived by: her children, Larry Haugen of Minot, Margaret Weltikol (Galen) and Sheri Berglund (Michael).
