She was predeceased by: her parents, Jakob and Elisabeth Gros (Boldorf); her husband Vernon Eckel; her daughter Eva Marie Eckel; her son-in-law Marvin Fettig; her siblings, George Gros (Maria), Annaliese Muller (George) and Sophie Crapse (Art); and her siblings-in-law, Erwin Eckel (Ann Weaver), Keith Eckel (Elaine) and Barbara Peterson.
She is survived by: her children, Gertie Miles of Prescott, AZ, Elizabeth Armstrong (Guy) and Vernon Eckel, Jr. (Pamela) of Burlington, ND; her grandchildren, Ray Rutherford (Dana), Starla Miles, Michelle Tallman (Andy), Mike Fettig, Brandon Fettig (Makesha), Jacob Eckel and Joshua Eckel (Sara); her great grandchildren, Sunny, James Miles, Kadyn, Grayson, Teegan, Emersyn Tallman, Kamyah and Keenan Fettig; and her great great grandchild Jayden Miles.
